Their feathers are just too bright. 这样的句子，不知道激励了全世界多少人或多或少自命不凡的人，都以为自己不是属于这里的，这个星球上肯定有一个更为适合自己的城市在等待着自己，那里有自己想要的和期待的一切。为了这些荣耀和梦想，可以抛弃所有的现在。

后来，看到那些信誓旦旦离家的人们伤痕累累的回到最初的地方，经营一家小店做一个小职员。那些所谓的梦想就像泡沫，一旦握在手里，立马消失得无影无踪，气泡破碎的水珠，依旧在手里，让人知道那些光环原本的面目。那些电影里的英雄，更多程度上就是成就我们无法企及的梦，给予大众一种对于光明的憧憬。

豪斯说，Hope is for sissies.

Depressed patient: I just want to do something that matters.
Dr. House: If you are unhappy, jump out of the plane; jump out of it.
Depressed patient: I want to, but I can’t.
Dr. House: Hmm… that’s the problem with metaphors needing interpretation. Jumping out of a plane is stupid.
Depressed patient: What if I’m not in a plane? What if I’m just in a place I don’t want to be?
Dr. House: That’s another problem with metaphors. Yes, what if you’re actually in an ice cream truck and outside are flowers and virgins. You’re on a plane! We are all on planes. Life is dangerous and complicated and it’s a long way down.
Depressed patient: So, you are afraid of change?
Dr. House: No, you are afraid to change. You’d rather imagine that you escape instead to actually try. Fail and you’ve got nothing. You give up the chances of something real so you can hold onto hope. …the thing is, hope is for sissies.
